What You’ll Need
- Tomatoes
- Cutting board
- Chef’s knife
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
How to Make Roasted Tomatoes
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Slice 3 pounds of ripe plum tomatoes in half and gently remove the seeds.
- Place cut-side up on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Roast 40–45 minutes, until tomatoes begin to caramelize.
- Let cool and enjoy!
Tip: You can keep roasted tomatoes in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to five days, or in the freezer for up to six months.
