Meet Your Go-To Potluck Dish
Dear Chef Mike,
I never know what to bring to a summer potluck! What’s an easy recipe that people really like? Help!
–No Time to Cook
Dear No Time to Cook,
Personally, I’m a huge fan of dips. I like to combine a variety of different flavors and textures to create something delicious and unique. Fresh, salt, fat, acid, crispy, herbs — all of the things. Recently, I made a dip similar to a cucumber pico de gallo, combining diced cucumber, chickpeas, yogurt and lots of fresh herbs. I finished it with fresh lemon juice and served the dip with a mix of crispy and soft pita. Boom! It was a hit! With a few simple ingredients, you can create something really special and flavorful.
