Back in 1866, when William Breyer started his small ice cream business in Philadelphia, he probably would have been seen as nuts to use the ingredients that he did. He valued great ingredients so much that he committed his ice cream to a pledge of purity, telling the world that only the best milk, cream, fruit, and other ingredients would do. Now, some 150 years later, we still follow the same commitments to using high-quality ingredients in our desserts. Our Breyers Butter Pecan is made with 100% Grade A milk and cream that come from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones*.
